Daniel Potter, CPA

Daniel Potter is a financial advisor who has been helping many families achieve their financial goals since 2013.  Dan graduated from Brigham Young University in 2000 studying economics.  From 2001 to 2003 he worked in sales for a software company.  He was first introduced to the financial services industry in 2003 working for another financial advisor.  He started working with his father in 2004 in his tax and accounting practice. He then went to back to school at University of Houston to get the required accounting classes to become a CPA.  In 2010 Dan became managing partner of Potter & Golden, P.C.

Dan had been an endorsed local provider in tax and accounting since 2010 for Dave Ramsey.  He has also been a SmartVestor Pro for Dave Ramsey since 2016.

He has been married to his wife, Cheryl, for 14 years, and has two beautiful children, Talmage and Keziah.  He resides in Missouri City, Texas and is involved with his church in Sienna.  His hobbies include spending time with family and friends and cheering on the BYU and University of Houston Cougars.
